These portraits are created solely with pencil, ink and paint, the only digital quality is in each cards reproduction.
Each #OneWordMissing portrait is done out of appreciation for the subject matter.
There are multiple creative adventures in each one produced, whether it is sourcing "that one instantly recognisable image", or finding the well suited "OneWordMissing" text that makes each one look a bit like an imaginary book cover.
To date (March 2019) Bob has produced almost a 1000 different #OneWordMissing portraits.
He prefers to sell his work "In The Flesh" via small Pop-ups primarily in West Yorkshire and in Manchester.
As there is a lull in consistent Pop-up activity, this site is the ONLY online source where you can get his strictly limited edition work.
The cards are printed in very small runs (6 of each subject) in Blackpool, on thick card stock (SR). Each is plain inside, and ideal for pretty much any occasion.
Price includes Free P&P within the UK.
